Sophomore Announcements and Information
PreACT Information
PreACT will be given to all sophomores free of charge on November 6, 2025. No need to sign up.
After the exam, PreACT score reports and test booklets were distributed mid-December. Contact your counselor if you need help interpreting your score. You can also watch the video on Understanding Your Score, and access the Using Your PreACT Results Guide. Students are also encouraged to set up an ACT account, as they will take the ACT for free during the spring semester of the junior year.
PSAT Information
The PSAT is scheduled for October 16 and October 20, 2025. If you are interested in taking the PSAT, you must have registered by September 18. More details and the link to register can be found on the PSAT Flyer 2025.
For the sophomores who take the optional PSAT: After you receive your PSAT scores, click here to learn about Understanding Your PSAT Score. The counselors are also available to assist.
Students can also access PSAT practice tests online and get diagnostic information that can be used to improve future performance. Please note the practice tests do not count toward scholarship opportunities.
